Da Chu's greatness is not splendor but capacity. A mountain bearing heaven — it looks about to collapse, yet the qian below has a hardy base and holds. True accumulation is restraint from release: to have strength in hand and not spend it is what makes the right act possible. Those in a hurry for results most easily exhaust themselves just before the best moment.
The most interesting line: the wooden yoke for the young ox — fit the headboard before the horns harden, not after it has gored someone. Cultivation works before the force takes shape. Restraint one step early spares ten conflicts later.
